Entries from 11 Countries to Vie for Progressive Automotive X-Prize
One year after announcing the $10 million X Prize for cars that can exceed 100 mpg (or its energy equivalent), Progressive Automotive announced that 111 teams from 11 nations have registered to participate in next year’s long distance competition. Ninety teams will use pure electric or electric hybrid powertrains.
